We work with many colleges whose teachers are really effective in the classroom, but who are finding it tough to adapt their practice to working online. They have found that learners who are left working alone are far less likely to be engaged than when they are in the classroom. The online HOW2 collection is full of teaching techniques that see learners working together, independently of the teacher. This reduces teacher workload dramatically and leads to greater student engagement. The switch between classroom and online teaching is seamless — a true blended learning approach.
