The Learning Centre provides support and supplementary resources for TeachingHOW2s. For further help or feedback email support@teachinghow2s.com.
The home page provides instant access to the HOW2s you’re currently working on, notices from your colleagues and a list of activity from across your organisation.
Links to two featured HOW2s will appear at the top of the page. If you have started to work with the Skills Exchange we’ll show your two most recent ‘Working On It’ statuses, so that you can quickly return to them.
Admins can use Notices for communication across your entire organisation. Notices could include anything from forthcoming training events to general hints and tips.
If you are not an admin and your organisation doesn’t currently have any active Notices this feature will be hidden.
We’ll do our best to pick the two Nudges which are due next, but you can also click the ‘All Nudges’ button to see all Nudges that you’ve sent or received.
The Activity tabs provide a picture of your organisation’s HOW2 usage.
Incoming – You can think of this as your HOW2 inbox. Whenever colleagues share sets, notes and nudges with you, an entry will appear here.
Your Activity – If you’d like to quickly refer back to something you shared or a status that you set, you’ll be able to find it here.
Organisation Activity – Use this view to keep an eye on your colleagues’ HOW2 usage. For instance, if someone else has just started working on a HOW2 you’ve been considering, perhaps you could work on it together?
Admin users will be able to manage Notices via the Add Notice button to the right of the Community Notices heading and via edit and delete buttons when viewing individual Notices. When creating a Notice you will also be able to specify whether it should also be sent to all users via email and whether commenting should be enabled.
If a Notice is no longer needed you can either delete it or you can edit it and assign the Draft status. Draft notices can only be viewed by their original author.
The Library contains over 130 teaching techniques arranged into several Collections, each with a specific focus. Within each Collection are a number of Sets – or subcategories – which contain the HOW2s themselves.
