The HOW2s are the step-by-step visual guides to evidence-based teaching techniques, and the other features of the app all revolve around them to keep interactions focussed and productive.
An infographic is there to give you an all-on-one-page overview. A presentation ‘ppt’ type view enables you to interact with the graphics and go through the technique at your own pace, step-by-step
Sets out the benefits of using the technique from various perspectives, helping busy teachers with their planning and, if required or asked, to set out or answer the question “Why did you use this technique?”.
Notes are a great way to record and share your personal experiences with a technique and to support and collaborate with colleagues.
You can quickly update your Sets on the HOW2 page using the My Sets menu.
Several Skills Exchange features can be accessed directly from the HOW2 pages. You can assign your own status and easily get in touch with colleagues who are considering, working on or who have already embedded the same technique.
Set yourself a goal or suggest a specific action to others related to the HOW2 you’re viewing by giving a friendly ‘Nudge’.
