The Learning Centre provides support and supplementary resources for TeachingHOW2s. For further help or feedback email support@teachinghow2s.com.
The library contains over 150 teaching techniques arranged into collections, each with its focus. Within each collection are sets containing step-by-step visual guides to a range of specific individual teaching techniques, such as the HOW2s.
If you know roughly what you’re looking for then the search tool is a good place to start. It will find any Sets and Collections whose name matches your search term, including those that you have created or that colleagues have shared with you.
You can browse the Standard Collections to help you locate the HOW2s that best fit your needs.
Most educators start by browsing The Barriers To Progress Collection as they find it quickly connects them to the everyday challenges they face in their context.
The Teaching Strategies Collection contains all the teaching techniques and is another good starting point.
When browsing the library, you can now select the‘personalise your library’ link at the top of any collection. On the subsequent page sets of interest can be selected and saved. On subsequent visits to that collection, the sets you’ve selected will be pinned to the top of the page.
The Custom Collections are where your personal library is stored. In ‘My Sets’ you can create, manage and share your own groups of HOW2s and in Shared Sets you can view the HOW2s that colleagues have shared with you. Finally, in your community’s Sets you can view the Sets that your administrators have created and shared with your whole organisation. This area is, in effect, your school or college’s personalised library.
Within each Collection are a number of Sets. In the Standard Collections these are effectively subcategories, but within Custom Collections each Set has a specific purpose.
