The challenge of turning district priorities into consistent classroom practice How to make professional learning practical, accessible and sustainable Supporting teachers to select and apply evidence-based teaching techniques Using HOW2 to strengthen collaboration and professional learning across a district Martin’s experience of introducing HOW2 within Santa Rosa Consolidated Schools

Steve will share New River Community and Technical College’s experience of using the HOW2 Platform to support faculty development, strengthen instructional practice and give educators practical teaching strategies they can apply directly with their students.

The session will explore the challenges colleges face when supporting faculty across different disciplines, experience levels and locations, and how providing an accessible, shared approach to pedagogy can help institutions build greater consistency in teaching practice.

Participants will hear directly from Steve about why New River chose HOW2, how the platform is being used within the college, and the role it can play in helping faculty develop their teaching without relying solely on traditional professional development sessions.
