The session will examine the challenges faced by CTE instructors who bring extensive occupational knowledge but may have had limited formal training in pedagogy. Dr. Coyne and Dr. Lieb will discuss how colleges can provide consistent, evidence-based instructional support at scale, strengthen teaching practice across different programs, and improve the learning experience for students.

Participants will gain practical insights into developing faculty capability, creating a shared language for effective instruction, and embedding sustainable professional learning across Florida’s CTE workforce.
