Yes, we’ve mapped HOW2s to the work of John Hattie, Robert Marzano, the Deans for Impact and to Rosenshine’s Principles of Instruction, to name a few. These studies were, along with others, part of the inspiration behind HOW2s because we realised that although they pointed to what teachers might like to look at, they didn’t look at how exactly to do it. So ​‘yes’ HOW2s are mapped onto evidence-informed research.
