HOW2s Takes Centre Stage as Title Sponsor for NE Teaching and Learning for Skills Conference
Join us later this month for first-hand insights from HOW2 partner colleges and a keynote address by HOW2 CEO Ian Harris.
TeachingHOW2s is thrilled to announce its headline sponsorship of the North East Teaching and Learning for Skills Conference, set to take place on October 27, at East Durham College. The event is dedicated to providing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) support to educators in Further Education (FE) Colleges in the Northeast region.
Whether you’re a newcomer to teaching, a seasoned professional, or an industry expert transitioning into a teaching role, this conference is designed to meet the diverse needs of educators at all career stages.
The conference will cover crucial topics such as addressing skills shortages, evidence-informed teaching practices, dual professionalism, and teacher retention. Attendees can expect a wide range of sponsors and workshops aimed at empowering educators to manage the diverse needs of students and fostering equitable and enriching student learning environments.
Among the featured workshops is “Mastering Teaching Magic, Expert Practitioners Share the Rewards of Evidence-Based Teaching with the HOW2 Platform.” This session will be led by Ranjit Singh, VP of Quality and Learner Experience at Hull College, and Luke Zwalf, Heading Teaching and Learning at York College.
In addition, TeachingHOW2s’ CEO Ian Harris will deliver a keynote address titled; “The Open Secret: Teachers, Our Greatest Resource and Drivers of Collective Support in Education.”
TeachingHOW2s looks forward to contributing to the conference where we will explore the innovative features of the HOW2 Platform and showcase how we offer easily accessible, learner-centric CPD and facilitate collaborative, shared learning environments.
