CITB National Construction College, recognized for delivering industry-led, first-class training in real-life environments, has announced the adoption of the HOW2 Platform. This decision underscores CITB’s commitment to providing teaching staff with enhanced support and autonomy, particularly in addressing areas identified during individual and departmental observations. 

As a key player in shaping the future of the construction sector, CITB develops a training and skills system to meet the evolving needs of the industry.

CITB plans to leverage the HOW2 Platform by directly aligning ​‘actions’ identified in observations with specific teaching techniques offered on the platform. Monitoring progress will be facilitated through the staff’s self-assessment and reflections on the platform, creating a dynamic feedback loop that informs subsequent observations.

Looking ahead, CITB aims to expand the application of the HOW2 Platform by facilitating peer observations among staff. This approach will support collaborative teaching and learning goals, allowing educators to self-determine objectives that align with their professional development aspirations.
