CDN and HOW2 Expand Elevate LT Following Successful First Year

TeachingHOW2s is delighted to announce the continuation of its partnership with the College Development Network (CDN) as Elevate LT enters its second year, building on a successful first year, supporting educators across Scotland’s colleges. 

Launched in 2025 as a funded national pilot, Elevate LT has brought together educators from colleges across Scotland through a professional learning program designed to support the embedding of transformative, evidence-informed teaching techniques. The program is enabled by the HOW2 Platform and its integrated AI Assistant, which provides a uniquely practical approach to helping educators understand, adapt and apply those techniques in their own subjects, lesson topics and teaching settings. 

Looking ahead, Elevate LT will continue to support educators throughout the coming academic year through a combination of practical workshops, collaborative learning and access to the HOW2 Platform.

HOW2 combines practical step-by-step visual guidance, AI-enhanced coaching and collaborative professional learning to help educators apply evidence-informed teaching — not just learn about it. Its integrated AI Assistant provides real-time, tailored support, helping educators adapt evidence-informed teaching techniques to their own subjects, learners and teaching environments while keeping professional judgement at the centre.

Elevate LT is a funded national professional learning program developed by the College Development Network (CDN) in partnership with HOW2 to strengthen learning and teaching across Scotland’s colleges.

The program combines collaborative workshops, networking opportunities and on-demand professional learning through the HOW2 Platform, giving educators practical support to understand, adapt and apply evidence-informed teaching techniques in their own classrooms. Throughout the program, participants engage in collaborative professional learning, peer discussion and reflective practice, helping to strengthen teaching practice across the sector.
