Hull College to Host 2025 Nationwide HOW2 Leads Networking Event
Hull College welcomes educators to this year’s HOW2 Leads Networking Event on May 1st, where they will collaborate, explore platform developments, and share strategies shaped by the HOW2 Platform to improve teaching practices and outcomes.
TeachingHOW2s is delighted to announce that the 2025 annual HOW2 Leads Face-to-Face Planning and Networking Event will be hosted by Hull College, a renowned institution dedicated to driving excellence in education and innovation.
This event marks the fourth annual gathering of HOW2 Leads, a community of educators and leaders responsible for driving engagement with the HOW2 Platform at their respective organisations. The event provides a unique opportunity for HOW2 Leads to share best practices, foster collaboration, and discuss how to adapt and apply the vast array of techniques and features available on the HOW2 Platform to drive meaningful improvements across their institutions.
Hull College, located in one of the three most deprived areas in the UK, has exemplified the power of innovation in education. By leveraging the HOW2 Platform, the college implemented a developmental approach to teaching and learning, which reversed declining standards and transformed educational outcomes for its students. This commitment to excellence makes Hull College the perfect host for this year’s event.
Ranjit Singh, Vice Principal of Quality and Learner Experience of Hull College, shared his enthusiasm for hosting the event: “We are proud to host the HOW2 Leads Networking Event at Hull College. The HOW2 Platform has been instrumental in our journey to improve teaching practices and outcomes. This event provides an unparalleled opportunity for educators to collaborate, share ideas, and support each other to enhance the quality of teaching across institutions.”
The event will also showcase new features of the HOW2 Platform. These updates include:
AI Assistant for context-driven support, providing tailored teaching solutions for diverse scenarios.
The platform’s updated Barriers to Progress Collection, now featuring its ‘Personalise Your Library’ tool, enabling educators to plan targeted and effective CPD.
A key focus for the event will be a discussion on the use of the HOW2 AI Assistant, with Ranjit Singh, highlighting how educators are encouraged to use the tool to address specific areas for improvement.
The upcoming Hull College gathering promises to be a hub for innovative ideas, actionable strategies, and meaningful connections. Damian Rollinson Small, Director of Partnerships for HOW2, emphasised the importance of the event: “This gathering builds on the foundation of our monthly webinars for HOW2 Leads and termly webinars for teachers. It exemplifies the power of a dedicated community coming together to share insights, collaborate, and drive excellence in teaching and learning across institutions.”

About TeachingHOW2s
The HOW2 Platform provides educators with on-demand access to easy-to-learn, tailored teaching techniques that support individualized professional development and enhance engagement with evidence-based practices. By offering scalable, on-demand access, the platform helps institutions overcome the barriers typically associated with delivering effective Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to entire teaching bodies.
It features a comprehensive library of practical techniques, presented in formats such as infographics and click-through presentation screens, designed for quick learning and easy adaptation in classrooms, labs, or workspaces. Fully integrated with this library, the platform’s AI Assistant delivers real-time, tailored support to help educators adapt techniques to their specific subjects, lesson topics, and instructional goals.
In addition, the platform fosters a collaborative culture through peer-to-peer tools, enabling educators to share insights, reflect on practices, and support one another in refining their teaching strategies. Subscribers gain access to a vibrant community of shared learning and professional growth. Used by educational institutions in the US, UK, and Canada, the HOW2 Platform translates teaching practices into results-driven, evidence-based outcomes.
